Who is Anias?

Hey You! Firstly, I'd just like to say thank you for tuning in and checking out my blog! I'm pretty sure you're thinking "Who is this girl?" and "Why should I read her blog?"  lol those are perfect questions.

I'll start off by briefly introducing myself, I'm Anias and if you don't know how to pronounce it, it's actually very simple. It's pronounced "uh ny yis." I'm from Durham, North Carolina..also known as the infamous "BullCity" but yeah, born and raised. I'm 21 years young and I'm also a recent HBCU Grad! Go Me! I grew up in a very musically inclined family, everyone sings or plays one or more instruments. I'm a follower and believer of the one and only, King of all Kings, Jesus Christ! However..I'm still a work in progress. Let's be real, aren't we all? I'm the oldest of 18 grandchildren (yes, we are all extremely close and live in the same city lol), I'm also the oldest of 4 children. That's honestly one of my greatest unforeseen accomplishments, I love my little munchkins! I have a HUGE family..and it's constantly growing! But honestly this is getting pretty lengthy. I'm an open book so if you have any questions about who I am, feel free to ask away!


The goal is to master this new thing of “ healthy expression” for myself and to also become one of your most relatable friends.. We’re in this together.
I've created this blog to express the more transparent side of myself. You'll get an array of different things from my blog including my walk and journey with my Lord and Savior, school, work, relationships, friendships, recipes, my weight-loss story, overcoming depression and suicidal attempts, overcoming self harm, family memories and so much more. Don't worry...I'll be spilling LOT'S of tea about myself lol so definitely stay tuned!
